Had never heard of it before, but I was very glad I decided to try it as I was passing through Hartland. Great waitstaff and food. They have a good variety of foods (summed up well in their description) and really good prices. Especially if you get one of their dinner deals. We had their 1/4 chicken and fried chicken dinner deals and each could have just about fed two people. You also get to try several of their options this way. The 1/4 chicken was covered in BBQ sauce that was light but delicious. Not rich or spicy, just good. Also has a lemon pepper option. Came with a good sized Greek salad, which was also good, especially the dressing. Also come with pasta, you might be able to substitute for one of their others, but the default is mostaccioli. The noodles were al dente and tomato sauce was fresh and together it was so good. The fried chicken meal comes with a leg, thigh, wing, and breast. They have two types of breading it seems: a richer, crunchy breading and a smoother, lighter breading. Both had good flavoring and texture. The chicken was moist and dripping. It came with two sides; I chose the roasted potatoes, which was delicious seasoned potato wedges, and their coleslaw, which was creamy, sweet-ish, fresh, and good too. Both came with bread which I had read on other reviews was very good. It is very good, fairly dense, and buttery. A half bag is six sticks and a full bad is twelve. The meal deals come with four breadsticks. I couldn't even eat my whole meal. A little less than half (except for the coleslaw) or the fried chicken meal is shown in my the picture. If I lived closer to it, I would definitely come back. They cater and when I was there, many people came to pick up the catered food. I would definitely consider them too. I don't think the waitstaff serves the food, but they were super friendly and attentive. The young lady even went out and opened an umbrella at the outdoor tables for us to eat at. I highly recommend this restaurant

I was really missing my Fenton House bread sticks and cream cheese dip ... Greek salads and other goodies I've lived off almost all my life ... since my grandma & pa Jeffers took me to Fenton House I believe at age 9... ANYWAYS... GUS'S bread sticks and salads and famous Greek dressing Is Exactly like Fenton House in Fenton, MI, but located in Howell! Super fast service ... smiling, happy, young, fresh faces leave u feeling warm and happy! My daughter Rachel finally told me about this hidden GEM!!! Check it out ppl it's really really good!

Everything has always been so good here. One of our favorite places to get a quick but delicious dinner. Way better option than fast food.

I pre ordered dinner on Halloween. When I got there the line was out the door…. And it moved quickly and perfectly. These young folk had a great system! They worked so well together like a machine. I was very impressed. Orders were on point. Good job crew. Thank you.

Food is exceptional here and the place is always very well run and efficient. There are so many great options from salads to very top notch pizza. I get big orders for my office and they're always ready on time. I love Gus's!

Their online ordering has made my experience with takeout orders so much more consistent. I absolutely love their Cajun chicken salad, amazing!!! Their bread sticks are crave worthy. The ranch dressing is made here and they sell pints of it, it's really, really good. The portions of salad are on the large size, a small feeds my family of three. For around 22 we all eat a delicious meal and everyone is happy!

Great service. Food is excellent! I recommend the lasagna, apple orchard salad, and of course the bread sticks and garlic dip!

I have loved Gus‘s food since before I moved to Texas way back when I was still in Michigan girl some 30 years ago. I am checking in on my nephew to see how he’s getting on and celebrating my birthday while I’m here. We got a carry out dinner for six including a pan of lasagna, a beautiful large Greek salad, and a bag of a dozen garlic breadsticks fresh out of the oven !!! Surprisingly, I had never had their lasagna since they have several other things I’m fond of as well. It was ridiculously delicious! Disposable foil pan was full to the brim with delicious sauce, noodles meat and cheese. They are Greek salad can’t be beat and we asked for extra beets and cucumber, which made it extra yummy!!! The breadsticks are a highlight of the meal nice and warm from the oven and garlicky good!!!! Everything was delicious and no snow for my niece who had already worked all day and is working tomorrow as well . We highly recommend Gus’s-, eat in/carry out / just eat it !!!!!!!
